Honey Margaritas with Bee Pollen Rim



  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Cointreau
  • 1/4 cup Orange Blossom honey syrup (see note) 
  • 6 cups ice
  • For rim:
  • 1 tablespoon bee pollen
  • 1 tablespoon coarse salt
  • lime wedges for rimming glass and garnishing


  1. For rim: finely grind bee pollen and salt. Run a lemon wedge around glass. Dip glass in bee pollen, salt mix.
  2. For margaritas: To a blender add tequila, lemon juice, Cointreau, honey syrup ice. Blend until slushy.
  3. Taste and add additional Orange Blossom honey syrup is desired.
  4. Pour into prepared glasses and serve immediately.

Note: To make honey syrup simply place 1 cup of Orange Blossom Honey and 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Heat gently and stir until the honey as dissolved. Allow to cool before using.
