Ingredients:
- 4 Tablespoon Coconut oil
- 1 Tablespoon Beeswax
- 1 Teaspoon Manuka Honey
Equipments:
- Air tight jar to store balm
- Double boiler or heat proof glass jar over saucepan.
Method:
- In a heat-proof glass jar or double boiler, combine the coconut oil and beeswax.
- Place over medium-low burner to melt beeswax.
- Remove from heat and mix in the honey.
- Stir for 3-4 minutes then allow mixture to sit for 5-10 more minutes until it starts to thicken.
- Stir thoroughly again for a few minutes to ensure honey don't separate.
- Pour balm into clean jar and leave to cool before putting the lid on.
- Store cool, out of direct sunlight. Can be kept up to one year.
Uses :
- Use as needed for irritated skin, scrapes, mild abrasions and general moisturizing purposes.
- May also be used on pets to help hot spots and dry paws.
